How much can I earn as a LIC agent?
Your earnings depend on your sales performance. First-year commission can be up to 25% of the premium amount. Additionally, you earn renewal commissions for the life of the policy. Many successful agents earn ₹50,000-₹1,00,000+ monthly.
Is there any investment required?
Absolutely no investment is required. LIC provides free training, marketing materials, and all necessary support to get you started. You only need to invest your time and effort in building your business.
Can I work part-time as a LIC agent?
Yes, absolutely! Many of our agents work part-time while managing other commitments. You have complete flexibility to set your own schedule and work as per your availability.
What training is provided?
You'll undergo a mandatory 25-hour IRDAI training covering insurance concepts, product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance. After passing the licensing exam, we provide ongoing support and advanced training to help you succeed.
How long does the onboarding process take?
Typically 2-4 weeks from application to getting your license. This includes document verification, training completion, and passing the IRDAI exam. We expedite the process to get you started as quickly as possible.
Do I need prior sales experience?
